Hire Developers: Vetted Senior Engineers, Ready for Your Backlog
From $5,000/month — screened before you meet them, employed by us, working in your repository and your standups from week one.
AnyPlace has one senior-led team in Hisar, India — the same people who deliver our fixed-scope builds — plus the engineering bench behind them. You direct the work; we carry hiring risk, continuity and replacement. Guaranteed daily overlap with the US, UK, Australia and Canada.
Your Options
Marketplace, Local Hire, or This
Every route to engineering capacity has a real cost. Here's ours honestly compared.
Marketplaces
Where it falls down
You inherit the vetting. Profiles are marketing copy, churn is high, and nobody is accountable when a contractor disappears mid-sprint.
With AnyPlace
We vet before you meet, employ the engineers ourselves, and replace at our cost — one contract, one accountable party.
Local hires
Where it falls down
Three months to hire, six months to ramp, and a full salary plus overhead for one seat — with all the retention risk still yours.
With AnyPlace
A shortlist in days, a senior engineer productive inside your first sprint, billed monthly at $5,000–$9,000 with no overhead to carry.
Traditional offshore shop
Where it falls down
Work happens in a vendor repo behind a project manager; you review deliverables, not pull requests, and context leaves when the contract ends.
With AnyPlace
Your repository, your backlog, your standups — the engineer is in your workflow, and everything they build is yours from commit one.
Seniority & Rates
Published Bands, No Recruiting Fee
Monthly rates per seat — you pay for the engineer, not a placement commission and a salary.
Senior
5+ years, ships end-to-end features without supervision, reviews others' code, calls out bad scope in discovery.
$7,000 – $9,000 / mo
Mid-level
3–5 years, owns well-scoped features reliably, grows fast with a strong tech lead above them.
$5,500 – $7,000 / mo
Pod (2–5 engineers)
A unit covering a feature area — frontend, backend and QA moving together under your product lead.
Scoped per pod
Roles span frontend, backend, full-stack, AI, data, QA and DevOps — see staff augmentation for the full list, or pricing for every band.
Hiring Process
Scoping Call to First Commit in Days
1. Scoping call
One working session: role, stack, seniority, the first 90 days of outcomes. You leave with a written brief — free, no obligation.
2. Shortlist in days
We match against engineers we already employ and have screened. You interview; you decide. No CV floods.
3. Start inside your workflow
Onboarding checklist: repo access, standup invite, backlog seat. The overlap window with your timezone is confirmed before day one.
4. Review at 30/60/90
Structured check-ins both ways. Wrong fit? We replace or re-scope — you're never stuck with a bad seat.
What You Actually Get
A Developer, Not a Dependency
The goal is capacity your team can direct — never a vendor you can't fire. Everything below is contractual, not aspirational.
Overlap window in writing
US Eastern mornings, UK full-day, Australia Indian mornings, Canada Eastern — agreed before day one.
Your repo, your process
Standard pull-request review inside your workflow; the engineer adopts your definition of done.
Replacement covered
Fit reviews at 30/60/90 days; if it's wrong, we replace or re-scope — no payment while a replacement ramps.
IP from the first commit
Everything produced is yours. No escrow, no export step, no leverage at contract end.
One accountable employer
We employ, insure and manage the engineer — you're never negotiating with a freelancer's other client.
Senior-led culture
The same team that ships our fixed-scope builds — code review standards come from people who carry delivery risk.
Proof
See How the Team Works
Case studies show the delivery rhythm — Friday demos, parallel-run cutovers, handover docs — and verified Google reviews show what clients say after.
Honest boundaries
We don't pretend to be a two-person startup's cheapest option, a US W-2, or an AI that replaces hiring. If you need a single junior for light maintenance, a local hire may serve you better — we'll say so on the scoping call.
Hiring Questions
Vetting, Rates & Ownership
Hire developers directly or use staff augmentation — what's the difference?
If you want to manage the engineer yourself against your own backlog, you're hiring a developer (dedicated developer model — often via our staff augmentation service). If you want an outcome delivered against a written scope, you want a project team instead. Both start with the same scoping call; the difference is who holds the backlog.
How do I know the engineer is actually senior?
You interview them before they start — technical, real-world, in your stack. Our screening exists so those interviews are worth taking: technical interviews and a live problem-solving exercise happen on our side first, and engineers who don't pass never reach your shortlist.
What does it cost to hire a developer through AnyPlace?
Dedicated developers run $5,000–$9,000 per month by seniority — bands are published on our pricing page. Monthly billing against the seat, no recruiting fee, no equity discussion, and replacement is covered if fit fails.
Where are the developers based and when do they work?
Hisar, India and remote, as our full-time employees — the same team behind our fixed-scope builds. Overlap with your hours is contractual: US Eastern mornings, UK full days, Australian afternoons, Canadian Eastern mornings.
Who owns the code the developer writes?
You do — from the first commit. Work lands in your GitHub/GitLab under your review process, with IP assigned to you. If the engagement ends tomorrow, nothing needs to be exported.
What if it doesn't work out?
Tell us at any 30/60/90 check-in or sooner. We replace the engineer or re-scope the seat; you don't pay while a replacement ramps on your time. The notice terms are in the agreement before day one.
